Introducing the new Pillar Soy PM7, a carefully crafted blend of soy, refined beeswax, and paraffin wax, each contributing unique properties that result in exceptional candles for melts, pillars, and moulds.

This innovative combination harnesses the clean burn and eco-friendliness of soy, the fragrance retention capabilities of refined beeswax, and the versatility and durability of paraffin, ensuring candles that maintain their shape, offer a longer burn time, and possess a higher fragrance tolerance.

Instructions

Melt the wax to the suggested fragrance temperature before adding your fragrance. Stir fragrance for at least 2 minutes and allow the wax to cool to the recommended pour temperature.

Liquefaction Point : Peak melting temperature 62°C
Congealing Point: Congealing temperature 58°C
Suggested Heating Range: Range of heating 85°C – 90°C*
Suggested Pouring Range: Generally between 75°C – 85°C
Suggested Max Fragrance Load: 8 – 10% – this depends on the potency of the fragrance so testing is required.
Contents:  Made up primarily of soy, beeswax, refined paraffin.
Please note these figures are a recommendation and not instructions.

**Heating above 85°C for too long may cause the wax to discolour.

Glossary and detailed pouring notes

Fragrance Load (FL): This is the percentage of fragrance that can be added to the wax. Learn more here.

Fragrance Temperature: The recommended temperature you should heat the wax to before adding your fragrance. Exceeding this temperature can damage the fragrance.

Melt Point: The point at which the solid wax will melt, the lower the melt point the longer your candle will burn. This is also useful to know if you plan to transport or display your candles in a hot environment.

Pour Temperature: The recommended temperature for pouring your wax (and fragrance) into the candle jar.

If difficulties are experienced with your pour temperatures, try a lower or higher temperature in increments of 2°C.

Pour temperatures should be checked and confirmed according to seasonal changes.
