Crystal Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base

Crystal Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base is exceptionally clear because it contains 25% added glycerine. It is our only soap base made with surfactant for clarity.

We searched the planet to find you the most natural Melt and Pour soap available. This quality glycerin soap is made the old-fashioned way and adjusted for crafters’ use. All of our melt and pour bases are uncoloured and unscented, ready for your additions such as fragrance, colours, essential oils, butters, exfoliants etc.

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil,  Safflower Oil, Glycerine (Kosher of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Coco Amidopropyl Betaine (Surfactant made from coconut oil & commonly used in shampoos, hand soaps & hair conditioner), Sodium Hydroxide (Saponifying agent), Sorbitol (Moisturiser), Sorbitan Oleate (Emulsifier), Soy Bean Protein (Conditioner).

Directions

Melt your soap base:
Determine the amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project, this will be based on the mold you are using. Carefully cut the soap base into small chunks and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until liquid. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.

Pour:
Stir in a color and/or fragrance of choice, then pour into your mold. Spritz the soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.

Remove:
OWL_CandleCreations_FSRemove your soap from the mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your hand made melt and pour soap bar is now ready to lather up.
CAUTION: Melted soap can be hot! Always supervise young children.
