We offer 3 types of wicks: ACS series, Heinz Verhaegh (CDN series) and Wood Wicks.

ACS series wicks are a flat braid with textile-grade cotton specifically designed for Candle Creation wax. Best in natural waxes especially soy & beeswax and can be used in paraffin wax. They offer a clean burn with less mushrooming.
 

Heinz Verhaegh wicks are one of the best in the industry. Flat braid style candle wick bends at the tip while burning, resulting in more complete combustion and a cleaner, self-trimming burn. The CDN series of wicks are pure cotton with a paper braid and are zinc & lead free. CDN wicks offer increased rigidity and enhanced burning properties for natural waxes.


 Wood Wicks are becoming more and more popular and we're excited to offer this range. These American   Hardwood wicks come from a renewable eco-friendly environment. The wood is not bleached or treated with any  harsh chemicals and a natural oil is used to assist with performance and burning. They all come with a loose packed tab measuring 6mm high x 8mm wide.


 We offer 3 types of Wick Tabs : 3mm x 15mm, 3mm x 20mm and 6mm x 20mm. The 3mm x 15mm are good to use in tea light containers, sepecially our polycarbonate te lights as they fit between the alignment pips. The 3mm x 20mm are good for CDN 6 - 10 and the 6mm x 20mm are good for CDN 12 - 30. 


NB: Adding colour and fragrance to your wax may alter the way it burns, so you may have to experiment with the size of candle wick you use. Purchasing a Wick Sampler pack which contains each wick size will allow experimentation before making a decision on larger quantities.

Use the size guide for each wick to get our recommendation on the wick to use. We advise your own testing is needed as there are too many variables to guarantee the exact wick.
